California. The California Nurse Association has put an alert up on their web site noting the February 10 due date of the missing Modesto woman, Laci Peterson.

Hoping that she would enter a medical facility to deliver her child or seek post birth medical treatment for her child, Laci’s family asked the CNA to use the association’s statewide email alert system to ask members to keep their eyes and ears open for the woman. Details were also posted on the website.

Peterson was eight months pregnant when she was reported missing on Christmas Eve. Her husband, Scott Peterson, told Modesto officers he was fishing alone all day on the 24th and when he returned home that evening the family dog was loose and his wife was gone.
